I remember my first real art experience when I was four years old. My dad would take me to his evening art class with him. One time, to keep me from wandering around to the other artists and giving them my critique, from a four year old’s perspective, my dad set me up with a canvas and some paints in an attempt to keep me quiet. I’ve been in love with painting and art making ever since.
Actually it was probably before then. Like many artists, I believe art is an integral part of who I am. It’s something we’re just born with.
Even though my art has changed over the years, I’ve always had a strong affinity towards bold rich color. The kind that excites your eyes and feeds your soul. I enjoy expressing feelings, moods, and ideas in an abstract way.
